Overview

MetaCare aggregates the gig/hybrid worker, leveraging the power of community to bring corporate pricing directly to retail. It has been recognized as a Top 20 startup for Web3 Matching by Binance, Amazon (AWS), and Kyros from over 330 applications in 2022.

Approach

Led the design and development of a seamless and intuitive design system and UX for MetaCare, utilizing blockchain technology.


Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.

Atomic design ⚛

I created a design system for Metacare by following the principles of atomic design. This approach involves breaking down the interface into smaller, reusable components that can be combined to create complex user interfaces.

Building it up 🦾

I started by defining the basic building blocks, such as colors, typography, and buttons, and then built upon those elements to create more complex components like forms and header bars.

Consistency is key 🔑

By following this method, I was able to ensure consistency in the overall look and feel of the product, as well as streamline the design and development process for future projects.

User Experience 💻

B2C 🙋‍♀️

I started with a simple and intuitive onboarding process that explained key features and offered personalized content. During the user flow, I defined clear pathways, incorporated product search and filters, and ensured a secure checkout.

B2B 👩‍💻

The B2B domain included creating a comprehensive KYC flow and setting up a merchant dashboard to be able to provide near real-time analytics. The dashboard enabled merchants to easily manage their products, orders, and sales, while the analytics offered valuable insights into their business performance. The goal was to make the merchant experience as seamless and efficient as possible, streamlining their workflow and helping them grow their business on the platform.
